If you’re looking for a fast make-ahead pie try my family favorite–key lime pie.

Key Lime Pie - Fuel Homeschool

Every family has a go-to dessert, at my house it’s this pie.

During the summer when key limes are easy to come by at the grocery store, I use those. During winter months when they cannot be found in Georgia, I use limes.

My kids and I have played around with this recipe. We’ve substituted pink lemonade and orange juice instead of limes. Key lime is still our favorite. The only version of the pie we all nixed was key lime filling in a chocolate graham pie crust.

Click over to Mentoring Moments for Christian Women where it was first shared a few years back.
