These little cuties have decimated my tomato plants this week. The fawns love green tomatoes and don’t even want them fried!
Yes, there are two babies and a Mama deer — she’s watching from the woods. They are simply beautiful, even if they are destoyed my aspirations of garden fresh tomatoes this year.
While the deer’s favorite has been my tomatoes, I would like to share this week’s favorite links and resources. Hope you enjoy them has much as I have.

Recipe
Because of 90 degree temps, I went looking for a crockpot recipe instead of firing up the oven for dinner this week. I foundĀ Crockpot Butter Chicken online and knew it was for dinner. After getting everything set up and the crockpot plugged in, my crockpot died. My attempt to keep the kitchen cool backfired and Crockpot Butter Chicken was cooked old school, in the oven. It is super simple and drenched in butter — what more does a recipe need?
Quote of the Week
“The habits that define men of understanding are the same habits that develop men of wisdom. The person rightly related to God – the one who observes, ponders, and asks God for insight – will be granted uncommon sense.” Pursuing Wisdom by Kenneth Boa and Gail Burnett
“For the Lord gives wisdom, from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up success for the upright, He is a shield for those who live with integrity.” Proverbs 2:6-7
